The album is the final piece of a trilogy that began with “Born Into This” released in 2007, followed by 2012’s “Choice of Weapon.” The band will bring that rock concoction - along with Astbury’s baritone vocals, Billy Duffy’s masterful guitar licks and hits such as “She Sells Sanctuary,” “Wild Flower” and “Love Removal Machine” - when they perform at Pechanga Casino Resort & Spa on Saturday, May 21.Īnd he once again tapped into his intuition when crafting songs for the band’s latest album, “Hidden City,” which was released in February.
